hey friend! i'm jess bowe, poet at The Sweet Slow (yes, my name rhymes with this Little Ole House of In-The-Moment-Poetry).
here's what i love: my children. their laughter (like bells. like holy music. like colors that haven't been named). black cats. mystery. mornings when the fog is still sleepy on the field across the street. good coffee. sitting under the stars. the sound of snow. contemplating Divine. quantum physics. the inexplicable. great listeners. little moment miracles. humans who find the beauty everywhere they go.
what else do i love? talking to you. listening to your stories. watching your eyes spark when you speak of your joy. sharing your grief, for a moment. then.. bringing the heart of it all to the magick-machine (aka: the trusty typewriter) and taking Divine dictation. making poems of your heart, really. i love it. and i love bringing more meaning to your already-meaningful event.
