it’s the end of your event.

everyone’s leaving,
off to wherever they’re off to next.

you’ve had an incredible time. you feel connected,
alive, but also wondering: how is it over already?

that’s the thing about time, isn’t it? it just keeps moving forward.

you’ve put all of this time and energy and anticipation into your event, celebration, milestone, or gathering
that by the time it’s come to an end, you’re wondering how it happened so quickly.

if only you could stop time. just for a little bit.

oh wait.
you [sort of] can.

that’s what i’m here to bring to your event (and life).
a sense of timelessness.

with my ancient (okay: vintage) typewriter, pretty deckled edge paper, and an open invitation,
i have a heart for humans and their stories, translating whatever they need to hear into free-verse poetry
that’s not quite Dr. Suess or Shakespeare, but something accessible, intuitive, and fully.. alive.

imagine this:

works

how it

all i need is a table

guests find me wherever i'm set up; set-up is easy .. all i need is a table, decent lighting, and a chair or two.

chat for a moment

i'll ask some questions to get your guests talking. sometimes people know exactly what they want me to write about; other times, i intuitively sense what a person needs. after a few minutes of chatting, i'll spend 5-7ish minutes crafting an original, free-verse poem.

receive your words

when the poem is complete, i'll place the newly-inked cotton paper into an envelope with an optional wax-seal; some guests love to read their poems at the table, while others prefer to have a quiet moment with their words after stepping away. tears are had, exclamations of how did she know?! and true heart-connection-magick happens all around.

let's make some word magick.
